Hotel booking terms and conditions

The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all bookings made with Hotel Derby Bar whether at or with the hotel directly.


Hotel Derby Bar reserves the right to increase or decrease the price of unsold rooms at any time. The price of your room will be confirmed when your booking is made and, with the exception of any errors, we will not change this price once it has been confirmed.
We reserve the right to correct any errors in advertised and confirmed prices and will do so as soon as we become aware of an error. We will notify you of any price discrepancies relating to your booking should they arise. We strongly advise you to check that the final price of your booking is correct before making your final confirmation. Should you take advantage of a pricing error on our website or any external booking site we will notify you as soon as it is brought to our attention. In the event of an unlikely situation of this kind, it would be necessary to cancel your booking and refund any monies paid.
Please note if you are booking online the price currently being offered cannot be guaranteed should you not complete your booking at this stage.

City Tax

The price given to you when booking does not include city tax which to be paid in cash in reception.

The Tax has a daily cost (from 13 yo to 70 yo only) of 1.50 Euro per person per night.


From July 1st 2012 the Municipality of Sauze d’Oulx by resolution of Municipal Council N.12 of 29/02/12, has established the “tourist tax”. The tax is applied to overnight stays in the town of Sauze d’Oulx and for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights.

There are the following exemptions:


a) children up to 12 years old
b) workers in tourist structures
c) workers belonging to local and national Security Forces
d) disabled people


The profit coming from the tourist tax will be used to improve facilities and hotels and to make your stay in Sauze d’Oulx even more pleasant.


All are rooms are allocated at the time of booking. If you would like to request a particular room or view we suggest you contact the hotel prior to booking to check the availability.

Arrival and departure times

Hotel rooms are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure. Late checkout with an added fee is subject to availability.

Cancellations and refunds

Non-refundable rooms require full pre-payment will be forfeited if cancelled for any reason.
Standard rates can be cancelled or amended up to 14 prior to arrival. If you have paid a deposit at the time booking this is non-refundable and will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled after the 14 day period. Any bookings made on the Standard Rate cancelled after the 14 day period prior to arrival, or in the event of a non-arrival, will incur a 100% cancellation fee for the whole stay.
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing and accepted with staff 2 weeks prior to arrival or charges may apply.


If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay you should bring the problem or issue to the attention of the Manager as soon as possible so that all reasonable efforts can be made to rectify the situation. They will fully and impartially support the investigation of your complaint with the hotel.
